Terms and conditions

Commissions

• Please ensure that you have looked at my previous work and understand that the style and quality of your artwork will be similar.

• Commitment to supply artwork to a hard deadline should be obtained before any booking is made; please let me know if you have a deadline for delivery of the final artwork (e.g. a birthday).

• Artwork is priced based on paper size and number of subjects. Your portrait will be a good size within the paper area.

• It is your responsibility to ensure that any reference photos are used with the permission of the photographer. A suitable photo must be agreed prior to starting the artwork.

• A booking fee, at 25% of the quote, will be required to secure the booking; this is non-refundable. Details for payment will be provided on your quote.

• Changing details agreed for your commission (e.g. later requesting that a background is added) may incur further charges; you will be made aware of these before such changes are made/ cost incurred.

• Full payment is required before the final artwork is posted to you. Prices include postage cost within the UK.

• All rights to the produced artwork belong to Amii Harwood and do not transfer upon payment. You may not reproduce the artwork without written permission from me.

• In the event of non-payment of the balance, I may use the artwork as I wish.

• I ship worldwide, and price conversion is as per the exchange rate at the time of booking.

Vouchers

The following special conditions apply with gift vouchers:

• A gift voucher entitles the recipient to a hand drawn coloured pencil portrait of their pet according to the size quoted on the voucher. The size can be converted to a square portrait if desired. The style will be similar to previous artworks as viewable in my gallery.

• The gift voucher includes basic mounting but does not include framing.

• The expiry date is shown on the voucher. The recipient needs to redeem their voucher before the expiry date.

  To redeem the gift voucher, the recipient must:

  • contact Amii Harwood Artist with their unique voucher code. The voucher code is unique to the buyer, it is their responsibility to not disclose this code to others.

  • provide Amii Harwood Artist with suitable reference photos of their pet.

  • mutually agree with Amii Harwood Artist on the main reference photo to be used for the portrait.

• Once the recipient redeems their gift voucher, they will be allocated a slot in my schedule. My waiting list varies throughout the year and can be several months long. To find out my current waiting list at the time of purchasing the gift voucher, please contact me.

• The recipient needs to be able to provide good quality reference photos of their pet/s. If the recipient is unable to provide appropriate photos, I will work with them to reach a resolution which may include a refund.

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable except in those circumstances outlined above. Vouchers can be transferred to someone else if the recipient does not want a portrait.

• The recipient may upgrade their pet portrait to a larger size if they wish and pay the difference in price. Please ask for this when redeeming the gift voucher. The difference in price will be determined from my price list at the time of redeeming the voucher. This can be viewed on my Commissions page.

• The price includes tracked shipping within the UK. For international addresses please contact me for a shipping quote.
