Meet your educator
Hi, I’m Amii, an award-winning coloured pencil artist and teacher.
If you've been following my journey, you'll know I create my artwork in the margins of a busy life - 30 minutes here, an hour there, between academic commitments and family life. Those pockets of time add up to award-winning pieces, including recognition from the UK Coloured Pencil Society, because I've learned how to slow down and enjoy the time I do get to spend with my drawing.
Why this Workshop is Different
My background in university education has taught me something crucial: success is different for everyone and relates to their journey and their goals. Unlocking the next level in your artwork? Well, that'll come from discovering techniques that align with your unique artistic voice. Yes, you have one.
I've been exactly where you are - experimenting with different approaches, wondering if you'll ever master those tricky whiskers or get your colours just right. The step I was missing? I was hesitant to let intuition guide me - for fear of 'messing up'.
This workshop brings together focused live teaching with comprehensive ongoing support. Join me for a relaxed 90-minute Zoom session where we'll work on key areas of a silver tabby portrait together, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
We won't just learn techniques - we'll explore why they work and how to adapt them to your personal style. Because creating stunning cat portraits isn't about following rigid formulas - it's about discovering and nurturing your own artistic journey.
