Mentoring Programme for Artists
Be guided by an award-winning coloured pencil artist
A safe thinking space is the most effective way to gain insight into where you want to be (and how to get there).
What’s included in the programme?
-
1 to 1 Meetings
A confidential one-to-one environment, with both of us focused on identifying the artist you wish to be and how to get you there.
-
Information and Advice
I’ll share my expertise and experiences as an award-winning artist and small business owner.
-
Individual Feedback
You’ll gain personalised feedback on your portfolio or elements of your art business. Together, we’ll identify opportunities for growth.
-
Agreed Action Plan
You should expect each meeting to end with an agreed action plan. This will often include practical advice you can implement straight away.
How It Works
01 | Register
Fill in the form with your contact details. I'll be in touch to arrange an initial online meeting. The cost of this first meeting is £100.
02 | Initial Meeting
The first meeting is your opportunity to ask me any burning questions. We'll have an online chat and discuss what you want from the programme. I will have already done a light-touch review of one of your artworks, website or social media to get us started.
03 | Mentoring Programme
The programme will be different for everyone. In our first session we'll map some initial intentions, but these may evolve the longer we work together. Over time, you may expect to:
Uncover your aspirations and priorities
Discover your strengths and develop new skills
Increase your knowledge and confidence
Explore new tools, skills and methodologies
I would usually recommend a block of six sessions to maximise the potential for growth. You can expect to pay £50 for each of these meetings.
YOUR COLOURED PENCIL ARTIST MENTOR
Hi, I’m Amii, and I’ve spent over a decade helping students uncover their potential.
- whether that’s by challenging their limiting assumptions, motivating their growth and championing their successes.
My award-winning style evolved from consistent practice and a willingness to experiment with new approaches and personal projects.
I’m excited to help you unlock your potential, refine your skills, and develop your own unique style.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A mentor acts as an experienced guide to promote growth and skill development.
Look for someone whose expertise aligns with your goals and whose values resonate with your own.
-
No. While the terms are sometimes used synonymously, and there is a bit of an overlap, they are different. Coaching is usually short term, focusing on a specific challenge, with an agenda set by the coach. The coach may or may not be an expert in the same field. Mentoring approaches typically take a broader view and build a longer relationship. The mentor has usually taken the path the mentee wishes to take.

For anyone who feels like they need an experienced guide - whose hindsight can provide you with foresight.
If you have been inspired by my story or my artworks, I am sure I can offer some lessons learned to save you time and avoid you making unnecessary mistakes.
-
In short, that's up to you. You will guide your own learning. What do you need help with? Where are your immediate and long-term challenges?
As well as providing practical tips, I will help you identify opportunities for growth, motivating and empowering you along the way.

There is a fee of £100 for an initial meeting with me. Thereafter the charge will typically be £50 per session. In each session you will invest your time and energy and I will do the same. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please let me know in advance so I can research if needed.
-
Absolutely. This is not a subscription or a membership. You can stop working with me at any time moving forward - I simply ask for notice if you are cancelling a prebooked session.
